They don’t mention the local “gay rights” leader with his child-molestation conviction, either.

A relative from Swain County just had his magistrate case about not marrying same-sex couples heard in court yesterday. Pray that he and a fellow magistrate are victorious.

"The State is engaging in a pattern or practice of discrimination against transgender state employees and both you, in your official capacity, and the state are engaging in a pattern or practice of resistance."

Is that a long way of saying, "resistance is futile"? How do you like that word used by the Just Us department for not going along with their new idea of privacy?

There is no doubt that Charlotte started it. The only response I’ve seen when that gets mentioned is “I thought Republicans believed in local control.” IOW, they’re saying that every city/town, like sanctuary cities, should be able to endanger their citizens.

In fact, I suspect that very few on the left would want to live under many of the laws and dictates they like to impose on the rest of us.

“IOW, they’re saying that every city/town, like sanctuary cities, should be able to endanger their citizens.”

Yup, somehow it’s cool businesses get their choice taken away if local government deigns to make insane decisions I guess. The publicly owned restroom thing might be a little different.

I wonder if we would be seeing a different reaction if Trump wasn’t seemingly cool with a man using the bathrooms in his property.

Exactly.

What gets me is PayPal. They pulled out because of the LGBT thing but yet do business in countries that execute gays. Do I sense a bit of hypocrisy???

North Carolina is unlikely to issue a fatwa calling for the deaths of the executives of PayPal.

Notice these boycotts and such are only done against people who might be intimidated by them.

“With this SCOTUS, God only knows how this will end.”

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

And that is why it is of paramount importance that Trump wins this election. And why his VP choice has everything to do with winning this election.

If Hillary wins, this issue is lost. As will many, many others.

So I urge any Republicans out there, if you think you hate Trump, imagine what it will be like with Hillary.

I think North Carolina should counter with an offensive -- billboards on all major highways saying:

North Carolina—
protecting the privacy rights of women and children
since 1712.

“North Carolina—

You are correct. As the NC divorce chasing law firms advertise on TV, “Divorce is different here”.
