Right, because the politicians have sent jobs overseas and the companies are explicitly refusing to hire Americans, and instead are hiring non-Americans.

You bet it's working.

This study was discussed on local talk-radio here in the Chicago media market yesterday. A "middle class" family in Chicago is described as a three person family and an average household income of just about $44k/year.

(I don't know how anyone lives in Chicago on $44k/year with how expensive it is, but that's another matter.)

According to the study, ten years ago nearly fifty-six percent of families were considered "middle class" in Chicago.

Now it's forty-seven percent. That's a very significant drop in ten years.

Now, what I'm curious to know is how much of that drop is related to people moving out of Chicago in droves, and Chicago being a sanctuary city?

But they tell us that inflation is low.

Low except for health care, education, food and rent.

The stuff the middle class uses.

They are also fast running out of taxpayers.
