Donald Trump arrives Thursday on Capitol Hill for a Republican congressional confab that's looking more like a showdown than a kumbaya moment for the party’s presumed presidential nominee.

I don't care how it is starting, I just hope it will end with all the Republicans supporting Trump.

I’m almost hoping they don’t support him. Bunch of back stabbing good for nothings that go back on their word more often than not.

I expect the first anonymous reports to be, somebody asked Trump when he will release his ‘tax returns’.

Trump has the same problem I have...Not real great at a podium....

but seat him for a table discussion....and he owns it.

Trump must convince these naysayers to get on board. Right now they want to take their ball and go home. Trump has the leadership to win them over.

Of course it is NOT required... Even Harvard Law Schooled Mitt Romney knows it is NOT required. But that sure has not stopped Mitt Romney showing his pettiness on Facebook... I just expect more of the same out of lying Ryan anonymously in some media hit piece.

Wary Republican lawmakers are the inside the beltway types who favor the continuation of the corrupt status quo. I watched Newt on Hannity tonight and he really spelled it out like no one else can. Newt is amazing.

I’d like to know why all the republicans currently in office are so afraid of Romney.

I have a feeling there are a lot of “Hasterts” up there and a lot of them have experience with drag queens.

“Trump must convince these naysayers ... “

IMO, that ain’t gonna happen. As prospective head of the party as well as head of one branch of government and the nation’s current, hmmm, conservative opinion leader, I don’t think Trump has to convince anyone of anything.

He’ll BS with them in his inimitable manner, and find out that they’re either on board or they’re not. If they aren’t on board, then they get left behind.
As you say, of course for now he has to pretend to care about what these buttnoids think, but I don’t think he will bother with any suasion.

Tens of millions of American voters approve of Trump. So what makes these Republicans on Capitol Hill so important?

How do they rate after Middle America has been economically gang raped?

We have seen their job performance. It's inept, destructive, they've betrayed the people, lied, and went right along with policy from hell in every direction. Tens of millions unemployed, tens of millions of illegals, lawless borders, punitive trade laws, epic debt, on and on.

How come Obama is such a terrible negotiator with everyone except the Republicans?

He will. Art of the Deal.

Just his stare and demeanor will make them wet their panties. He will be holding court with these clowns.

Even his son Eric told Megyn Kelly tonight, when asked how his father disciplined his children, that all he had to do was look at them to get the message across!!!
It will definitely be an historically awesome day when Mr. Trump takes Capitol Hill. And local dry cleaning businesses will have a lot of work coming their way. Copious amounts of stains to remove, no doubt!!

I would like the Republicans to support Trump, but if they don’t, their boneheaded and suicidal decision will not change the facts.

Facts:

-Trump is going to be our nominee.

-Trump is going to win the election and become our next “real” President.

-With our help, Trump is going to change the direction of our failing country.

A few days ago I had the privilege of proudly voting for Trump and I will do so again in November. Absolutely nothing can change my vote, NOTHING.
