The U.S. Justice Department is putting the feelings of transgenders -- men who think they are women and women who think they are men -- above the privacy rights of the vast majority of people who don't contest the biological facts of who they actually are.
"And what we must not do, what we must never do, is turn on our neighbors, our family members, our fellow Americans for something that they cannot control and deny what makes them human," Attorney General Loretta Lynch said on Monday.
"[N]one of us can stand by when a state enters the business of legislating identity and insists that a person pretend to be something or someone that they are not."
But Lynch was referring to people who, in fact, are pretending to be something that -- biologically -- they are not. A man "identifying" as a woman is not a biological woman. And likewise, a woman "identifying" as a man is not a biological man. Until now, that is, when the federal government has determined that biological facts matter less than wishes and feelings.
Lynch announced a federal civil rights lawsuit against North Carolina because of the state's new law (HB-2), which requires transgender people in public facilities to use the restrooms consistent with their sex "as noted at birth," rather than the restrooms that fit their "gender identity."
"We are seeking a court order declaring HB-2's restroom restriction impermissibly discriminatory, as well as a statewide bar on its enforcement," Lynch announced. She said the Justice Department also retains the option of "curtailing federal funding to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and the University of North Carolina as this case proceeds."
So, if I “feel” that I am the Attorney General, can I occupy her office?

I think a good next step is to change the *criminal* law to make sexual offenses in restrooms an “aggravating” circumstance that could make a misdemeanor a felony, and a felony a serious felony.

The only sex-related issue that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect is voting rights, evidenced by the 19th Amendment. And since PC gender issues are clearly out of the scope of voting rights, the corrupt, state sovereignty-ignoring Congress is wrongly letting the Harvard Law School-indoctrinated USAG get away with harassing the states on issue imo.

When patriots elect Trump, they also need to elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to not only support Trump, but also put a stop to unconstitutional federal interference in state affairs, USAG promoting constitutionally unprotected LGBT agenda issues in this example.
Also consider that such a Congress would probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
I feel am a squirrel. The government can’t say otherwise. Squirrels do not pay taxes.
Lynch: States Can’t Insist on Reality If I Say No!
I do believe this is the gateway to legitimizing NAMBLA, which is the next Liberal Frontier. We will soon be told we cannot hurt the feelings of those who desire to have sexual intercourse with children under the age of 8, because it would mean they are not human. Or that its inhumane to regard an adult that wants to have sex with children as a molester.
This is where they are going. The LW agenda is far from over and so far away from any semblance of morality anymore
But they can insist that a man is a woman (Bruce Jenner). This is madness!
Can I insist I’m a minority when I apply for college?
Can they keep a man from choosing a woman’s prison? Can they keep a man from competing in the LPGA or woman’s boxing or woman’s MMA? It seems that to do otherwise would be discriminatory....

I sincerely hope he prefaces that statement by publicly telling her in plain English that she’s ‘lost her f’n mind.’ And then proceed to similarly delouse other departments.

So if a 6’2” white male insists on his job applications that he is actually a small minority woman, because that’s the way he feels, his applications should be considered as such?
Sure they can. To do otherwise is to accept a fraudulent act as legitimate.
