Being in the military during and after Vietnam, suffering under Carter, (today’s military worse off than that!), it was a great day to be an American, under Reagan. The Soviets were afraid of him.
Carter was a self-flagellating idiot. (Too many years stuck inside the USS Nautilus as it’s commander, I think).
They have three Russian Kilo class subs in addition to some locally produced mini subs.
