Good point. I think there is something more serious with his mental condition than we thought.
Maybe the staunch Cruz advocates here can shed some light on Cruz' strategy.
I am by no means eight Ted Cruz support although I once was.
The expression “it ain’t over till the fat lady sings” is true and I can’t blame Ted Cruz for understanding the fat lady has yet the sing.
I believe Donald Trump has made it impossible for Ted Cruz to affect his winning the nomination because he has won so many delegates out right that have to vote for him on the first vote. I believe there are some delegates who are bound to vote for him on the first vote who won’t but I also believe that Mr. Trump will have enough of a pad to withstand the mutiny of those delegates.
I do not see what Cruz is doing as evil but I do see it as ill advised. I see no way for him to be successful in any way. It will not give him more influence at the convention, the best way to get influence would be to pledge his delegates to Donald Trump. It looks like as long as Mr. Cruz thinks there’s any possibility one in 1 million perhaps chance of opening the convention he will do all he can to make it happen. What I believe Mr. Cruise fails to realize is that in an open convention he only has half the votes of Donald Trump and he is hated even more than Trump by the GOP elites.
I do not believe he can be successful and I believe it will ruin his political career. Had he cooperated with Mr. Trump when he ended his campaign he probably could have had a Supreme Court nomination, with today’s actions he will get nothing out of this convention.
