Ryan is a footnote to the meeting. The meeting isn't about Ryan, it is how Trump and the GOP can work together to advance Trump's candidacy, and defeat the DEMs. Trump isn't going to be taking "tone" or "message" advice from the RNC. The meeting is on coordination of two organizations to advance a candidate.

Ryan's fate is separate from that. He can be "in" or "out," doesn't matter to Trump.
