Since most smartphones have payment apps already it would be needless layer. Especially since you can’t really run a temporary tattoo through a card reader, at least not comfortably.

Since it is 'temporary' it would have to entail some sort of scan for purchasing that day, not a traditional reader.

I agree, the tat seems superfluous.
