I know exactly how he made his millions. First, he had a rich father who gave him a lot of money for start up capital. If he had invested that money in index funds he might actually have billions. Instead, he sold lots of development schemes to banks and investors, lost billions of OPM (other people's money), filed several bankruptcies, and ended up with hundreds of millions.
By the way, I bought and read The Art of the Deal, The Art of the Comeback, Surviving at the Top, How to Get Rich, and several of Donald Trump's other ghostwritten books when first came out in the 1980s and 90s. I re-read each of those since he announced his campaign. What can I say, I like to read and Trump's ghostwriters wrote very entertaining books.
Personally, I plan to hold my nose and vote for Trump, just like I held my nose and voted for McCain and Romney. I hope he is more successful than they were. I also hope to someday be able to vote for a President without holding my nose, but the last time I was really happy to vote for a President was Reagan, so even though I am holding my nose I am not going to hold my breath.
I know that most of Trump's supporters do not have IQ's lower than the IQ of a radish, so I guess it is just you.
