And was the attack on Pearl Harbor “right”?
.............................................
Hell NO. And the lying SOB’s did it while “negotiating” in Washington.

I had a run-in with a Jap writer several months ago. He said Pearl Harbor was all a “Misunderstanding.” I told him to go to hell and to stop lying about the FACT that the attack had been planned a long time in advance. His “It’s all America’s fault” speech got cut real short. I also lambasted the listeners who had sat around praising his wonderful writing. What has happened to patriotism in this country? The Jane Fondas and john Kerrys should have been hung from lampposts, not praised and worshiped like Gods.

But of course Pearl Harbor was a "misunderstanding".
Japanese believed that if they destroyed the US fleet at Pearl Harbor, that would knock America out of the war and give Japan free reign in the Pacific.
They misunderstood.
They thought all Americans then were weak and feckless, just as some are today.
And given our Democrat lead politics of those times, such misunderstandings are, well, somewhat understandable.

Japanese did not understand that sinking our fleet would p*ss us off, big time, and there would be h*ll to pay.
So it is, technically, correct to say Pearl Harbor resulted from a "misunderstanding".
