The enemy here used to be Obama, Hillary and now Bernie. The left is the threat. Has this site turned into a pro socialist/communist web site? Please explain the hatred towards a constitutionalist like Cruz.

There is no hate towards Cruz if he does what is required by his own declaration.

But by June 7th, at the latest, he needs to do the honorable thing and endorse Trump, get on board and if required join the cabinet.

If Trump wins (likely) then Cruz’s time may come 4, 8, 12 or 16 years from now.

if Cruz pulls a Ryan, and tries to subtly sabotage Trump, well his career and good name are mud to folks who want a republican victory this year.

Simple as that. Cruz has a month to come around. The republicans need to go into the convention unified.

There are many people here that came to believe that Ted’s tactics showed a man who was willing to do and say anything to be elected. And there is a lot of evidence that everything he did and said in the Senate was only to get him into and win the primary.

“Please explain the hatred towards a constitutionalist like Cruz.”

You should have paid more attention the last few months.

“...a constitutionalist like Cruz.”

Ted and his supporters have done a good job of spinning that sales hype, but that’s all it’s ever been.

Ted proved he was no constitutional conservative when he helped push through TPA and voted for the Corker bill. Even worse, he ran for president, knowing that he’s ineligible under the Constitution.

It still amazes me how many decent conservatives continue to buy the hype about this ambitious climber.

Please explain the hatred towards a constitutionalist like Cruz.

On Friday March 11th, hundreds of Soros-funded supporters of Bernie Sanders and members of the Black Thugs Matter movement convened on Chicago while Trump was preparing to hold a rally.

Ted Cruz - in fact none of the remaining Republican challengers - Rubio and Kasich denounced the thugs. They denounced Trump for his "violent campaign rhetoric."

So a "constitutionalist" stood on the side of lawbreaking thugs who denied the 1st Amendment rights of a fellow presidential candidate, when he had the golden opportunity to denounce the thugs and stand with Trump.

That, in a nutshell, did it for me. I don't want Cruz anywhere near a Trump administration. Hell, I don't even want him to win his Senate re-election in 2018. He is persona non grata to me.
