Well...by that token you have to respect folks that do like Cruz and their decision not to vote for Trump.

Being from TX i supported BushII his first term... then too much Kennebunkport for my taste. Did like his handling of aftermath of 9/11, but the Gulf War turned out to be nation building. Hell, if Soviet Union was whipped there, what did WE expect?

From what i have read, this post was NOT originally labled “Traitor” as mentioned by the poster. The title is “CRUZ...” Cruz supporters were admonished off posts related to “TRUMP...” especially those regarding rallys.
Only suggesting that the vitriol being thrown like acid every time a conservative supports a conservative candidate (regardless of the mudslinging on Cruz) has gotten WAY beyond tiresome and is more likely to have a negative effect/affect on/by the ‘Cruzers’.
Once again, the Primary has not closed, and Cruz suspended, not conceded. He has every right as a candidate to support his position.
From ‘lyin Ted’ to ‘underhanded’ to ‘TRAITOR’, these continued attempts to belittle a conservative on FR is just not appreciated at this juncture before the primary is officially over.

I don’t consider it vitriol to be upset with Cruz actions and his supporters cheerleading for his actions...They are proud to cat votes for Cruz...Am I supposed to be happy? What do you and other Cruz supporters expect when Trump is the frontrunner and Cruz pulled out?!?! Thank you for the tone of your comments and your honest engagement. Makes my presence on this site acceptable. That is not always the case as you can see from many of comments just on this thread.
I too am not enamored by the hopscotching going on. Hopefully there is some helpful purpose to keeping conservatives willing to engage. Frankly, conservatives have been maligned and pushed aside as some ‘freak show’ when this is the time and place we all waited for a ‘hero’.
Maybe Trump will be. Cruz IMHO would have been, constitutionally speaking.

As a Cruz supporter, it does seem a waste of time and some of my MONEY. However, it is the drumbeat of hate that emanated from Trump’s attack mode that permeates to this day on FR against those of us who haven’t forgotten Cruz’s calling out the Senate GOPe over and over.
If there were not Trump, this site would be over the moon for Cruz. Know that i am not one of the ‘never’ voters, but i am well tired of voting for ‘go along to get along’ types. I sincerely hope Trump, if elected, will PROSECUTE these bastards in the WH and all their cronies. Letting BlowJOB Clinton off with a slap and now this witchClinton, well i just couldn’t find my pissed off level with a telescope if Trump finds her once again ‘a great Sec of State’.

I have NEVER LIKED CRUZ. So, if Trump were not in the race, I would be fairly quiet here on FR. I don’t like Cruz because of his globalist leanings...sorry he was a huge proponent of expanding immigration which is destroying the middle class...HE advocated for a 500 PERCENT H-1B VISA EXPANSION...IN addition I don’t think he is eligible to be US President.
That said, I appreciate your last paragraph. I hope Trump will really shake things up—which is why I am willing to take the risk to vote for him.
I really hope this attempted campaign resurrection is the last Cruz shenanigan we have to endure. I thought Free Republic was on it’s way to healing...uniting behind the frontrunner. I would like to see that again, hopefully, after today when Trump wins Nebraska.

Understood. Do note though that i will vote in CA Primary for Cruz. That is my conscience. When/if he is not on the ballot as the nominee in the fall, i vote Trump.
The only way i would not vote Trump is to not vote. And the only way i would not vote is if in Hellory debates Trump pulls a go along to get along with that heathen bitch. HE needs to promise to HANG her A double snakes out to dry! THERE is where my passion/anger comes from, the Wall is not my 1st issue. GET those criminal asshats in prison ONCE and for all.
