2. Have a connection to wealthy Donors
3. Most important have DJT back
No Bush's , Cruz's , Romney , Sasse , Kasich .
I could go for Scott Walker but I don't know if he can get Votes
Session no money nor votes, better adviser, It's a hard list taking Marco off with his Donors, Hispanics, Great Speaker and bridge to the party.
Someone throw names and reasons
Trump didn’t seem to find it hard to take Rubio off the list.
Trump is going to surprise us.
When drafting pick the very best communicator/ attack dog
Of the top ten richest people in Congress...Republican only have 3. The rest are Dems.
1. Rep. Darrell Issa-———Cal
2. Rep. Vern Buchanan -——Florida
3. Michael McCaul—————Texas
Your criteria are fine, but Trump has said the #1 thing he wants in a VP is political expertise to help get his agenda implemented through Congress. A Governor wouldn’t necessarily be disqualified, but neither Walker or Christie have been part of any legislature. Rubio served in the FL House and Kasich in the US House, of the other candidates. There are many good possibilities outside that group as well, but I’m sure Trump will have better connections with big donors than any of them.
There would be ALOT of union crossover votes Walker on ticket would keep those voters away!!!!
I heard earlier that Mr. Trump has 5 people for VP in the running, all experienced politicians. My guesses are:
Scott Walker
Chris Christie
Jeff Sessions
Jim DeMint
Newt Gingrich
Tough decision to have to make.
