P.J. has officially become an old fogey.

Likewise, saying you won't vote for the GOP candidate (e.g. Trump) means you are tacitly voting for Hitlery and all that she stands.

That canard is coming out early.

No, the act of personally not supporting the R candidate is not the same as supporting the D. By personally, I mean not voting for Trump.

The act of publicly pushing others to likewise not support Trump, however, IS support for Hillary.

Personal conscience must have a voice in this process.

Kristol says “So Jewish but they won’t invite me!”

A sniveling little back-stabber that one.

p.s. Dennis Miller is still one of ours, and a good one.

Kristol never been right about anything. He wrecked Quayle’s career by suggesting he spell potato.

See, I never got over his horrible treatment of Christine O’Donnell when she was running for office. I stopped listening to him then because he had no respect (a problem I always have for stand-up comedians when they are not on-stage). He’s also off the air in my area. I now have Laura in the morning!

It is one thing to not support the pub nominee. I can understand that. Romney last time was IMHO very unsupportable. Just don’t vote or go third party if you have to but never ever give the dims your vote. That is the worst you can do.

I’m confused about a couple of things. First, why are all of these people coming out now to say they’ll vote for Hillary over Trump. There’s six months until the election. Why not wait to see what happens over the course of the next six months? Second, Trump seems more conservative to me than most of our elected so-called conservatives.

They are not Conservatives nor "Progressives".

They are GOP Establishment

To the GOPE, and those who gain benefits from the existing power structure, Trump is a threat to their grip on power. It makes sense when you think of there being a UniParty, with Dem and Repub branches. The UniParty wields power in Conservative areas through the Repub branch, and in Leftist areas through the Dem branch, but at the core it's all about the oligarchy, about using the power of government to benefit the "insiders", the politicians who "play ball", the media commentators (on both sides) who make money from shaping public opinion to benefit the UniParty, and the big donors who use their influence over government to protect their interests and destroy potential rivals.

What Trump has done is to rip the mask off the UniParty, and let us see the writhing mass of maggots under the mask.

Surprised no one picked up on what he really said.

The celebrant questions the parents and godparents.

Celebrant: Do you reject Satan?
Parents & Godparents: I do.

Celebrant: And all his works?
Parents & Godparents: I do.

Celebrant: And all his empty promises?
Parents & Godparents: I do.

Catholic rite of baptism. Famously said during the Godfather movie where Mike takes out all their enemies.
Faint praise indeed. P.J. is washed up but occasionally he still comes up with a good one. Flame suit on. And yes he is a drunk and revels in the Mick writer as a drunk meme. Knew the family of his 2nd wife.

So what if he doesn’t like Hillary either?

He still made it very clear he isn’t voting for Trump (using fear of nuclear destruction, of course). So, he is helping Hillary win...no matter how much he says he doesn’t like her.

People need to understand that there is by far more money for the "Conservative Media" in the perpetuation of the problem, rather than in the solving of the problem.

The "Conservative Media" is not, nor ever has been, your friend.

This is a surprise

Yeah it certainly is - I don't understand this vein of recent thinking

Donald Trump isn't Jesus Christ so I'm going to go vote for someone that promotes Satan's agenda.

OK this is starting to freak me out...

Beck was always a bit nuts, but he DID expose Soros and Agenda 21 way before anyone else I ever heard it from.

But Mark Levin acts like Trump is the antichrist?

and now PJ???? These are guys I seriously trust(ed)

Granted, its a left-handed compliment at best:

“I am endorsing Hillary, and all her lies and all her empty promises,” O’Rourke continued. “It’s the second-worst thing that can happen to this country, but she’s way behind in second place. She’s wrong about absolutely everything, but she’s wrong within normal parameters.”

But seriously- Trump is a lot of things, but is he worse than HilLIARy???????

I think I have every book PJ ever wrote, some even signed copies. And I have even bought several copies for friends and multiple copies if I lost one...

“A Parliament of Whores” is a MUST READ (!!!SERIOUSLY!!!) for all Freepers.

So this is disturbing.

Truth or mis-understood sarcasm???? I think he was telling the truth

“I have a little announcement to make ... I’m voting for Hillary. I am endorsing Hillary,” noted conservative author P.J. O’Rourke said on NPR....”

later paragraph:

“I am endorsing Hillary, and all her lies and all her empty promises,” O’Rourke continued. “It’s the second-worst thing that can happen to this country, but she’s way behind in second place. She’s wrong about absolutely everything, but she’s wrong within normal parameters.”

“This man just can’t be president,”

Please note that “NPR’s Wait Wait ... Don’t Tell Me” willingly and gladly employed Paula Poundstone AFTER she admitted to digitally raping her adopted daughter.

I was fan of PJ since National Lampoon days. I was 12 and he was my entrée into the world of political commentary and wry humor.

One more of my heroes is dead.
