I love it! I hope he loses. That budget deal he passed giving BO everything was just the middle finger to voters. He is so arrogant he thinks he can just do anything he wants. Hoping really hard that he loses.

The Art of The Deal
Ryan won this round by offering to resign:
Trump would get a terrible, contentious convention if he fired Ryan- not a great way to start the general campaign.
Trump does NOT want that- so he can’t fire Ryan.
Ryan has shown that HE does NOT work for Trump, maybe even that he is Trump’s equal.
Of course it doesn’t count for much in the big picture...

Donald Trump is the ultimate alpha-male.
Damn son, when you finish your fondue and brioche you should come visit TX. We can introduce you to some real men. Not one of them have spray tans, hair color and comb overs.

Sarah Palin is also going to campaigning with Paul Nehlen. I think Speaker Ryan’s days are numbered.

Not clear what you’re talking about, just pointing out Ryan played his hand well.
Showing one can walk away from a deal is a strong move.
Trump has the upper hand of course and there’s no reason to think he’ll waste it.

Ryan picked a fight for no good reason and it is a fight that he can only lose no matter what happens to Trump’s candidacy.
it’s almost as if he was a democrat mole for Hillary.

Ryan won this round by offering to resign.... Ryan has shown that HE does NOT work for Trump, maybe even that he is Trumps equal. No one asked Ryan to work for Trump. The problem for Ryan is that we do know who he has been working for - and it is not the voters.

Instead I am led to believe they are praying the nation fails, so they can say, I told you so. Its past time to go at each other, but if Cruz folks think they are going to get free shots here endlessly at Trumps expense, they need to think again. Its time to pull together now.
This forum doesn't have a history of unanimously acting in the Republican candidates interest. Think McCain and Romney. I will vote Trump, as I would have voted Cruz, despite strong reservations about each; but there is a long and strong first admendment history here.
I will not blindly support any candidate, and if Trump and his supporters can't accept some "advice", then so be it; and be prepared to live with the consequences without complaint.

No, the Speaker works for the people who elected him Speaker- not for the voters. Actually the Speaker’s job is to get his Members reelected, and to grow the Majority.
That’s not as cynical as it sounds as usually the Members and their voters want mostly the same thing.
These days however the Open Border donors own most of the congress.

Ryan lamented the fact that he doesn't know Trump very well and suggested an endorsement might still be in the cards... He also poured cold water on the possibility of a conservative candidate launching a third-party bid, warning it would be "disastrous for our party." And he offered to resign as chairman of the Republican National Convention if that were Trump's desire.
Considering how easily he gives in, I guess this comes as no surprise.
