You are 100% correct. The NY Times lies, Paul Ryan has folded his tent of backbone and caved like a crying baby. DJT....dump this turncoat traitor, Paul Ryan the minute you see him this coming Thursday!!!
Trump has already faced, and conquered, the steep challenge. Now it's time for the establishment RINO's to either get in line or retire to Haiti or someplace.
And the irony, in case Ryan has missed it, is that Ryan himself had played a big role to play in Trump's success.
If Ryan had kept a couple of his campaign promises the republican and conservative voters would probably not have turned to Donald Trump they way they have.
Sure, a lot of other republicans have made their way into office on lies and false promises for a long time, but Ryan has the power as Speaker of the House to actually carry through on his promises. That's why he now takes a lot of the heat for the party failures.
So now, voters have no faith in the party. We are tired of watching them lay down for Obama, and things have come to a head.
If Ryan had made even a modest effort to keep his word about defunding Obamacare, and if he had actually put together a real budget to cut spending, defunding some other Obama programs, and reducing deficit spending voters wouldn't be so fed up with republicans.
If he had, then the GOPe might have been able to lie and schmooze their way to getting Jeb or another establishment candidate as the nominee.
Instead, they got Trump and don't know what to do with him.
