“and God sometimes uses amazingly imperfect people to create very good things, indeed.”
You can only say that after the fact, not before. It isn’t a valid argument to advocate for a sinner because “sometimes God uses sinners...”.
How do YOU know?
You presume way too much, FRiend.
Since everyone is a sinner, I don't get your point.
Isn't your statement the same as saying => "It isnt a valid argument to advocate for a person because sometimes God uses people.?
“You can only say that after the fact, not before. It isnt a valid argument to advocate for a sinner because sometimes God uses sinners....”
we are ALL sinners (some of us just understand Jesus is our Redeemer).
God uses sinners all the time, David, Moses, Abraham, Peter, Paul, you, me, every believer - and some of us are used for great things, not just small stuff.
I think maybe people are thinking of when God uses unsaved folks to do good things. Sinners who are resisting or have not heard of Jesus.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, not just Donald Trump. Do you honestly think that any of our leaders/candidates are any less sinners than Donald Trump? Their sins are just not public knowledge, that is the only difference. Indeed I suspect their corruption is far far worse than Donald Trump’s philandering when he was young man.
