At face value it is a beat down of Linda which is much deserved. On another level it is a play for Cruz’s supporters who hate the establishment. Trump reaffirming his disgust for the establishment is a net positive for the 25% of Cruz backers. Lindsay and the RINOs are irrelevant. Trump playing to the broad middle and Bernoe supporters here too.
Nah—I think Cruz supporters are on a hair trigger over Trump insults already. More insults, just directed elsewhere, aren’t going to get him anything with that crew at this point.

This is the winning post—This kind of criticism helps attract that large group of Cruz supporters that Trump wants to add to his November vote total. Graham (and McCain) do not fully grasp how disliked they are by normal Americans.
