Also read the responses in that thread, and you will realize why my respect for Cruzers is basically zero. Beyond any reasonable doubt, Cruz was supporting legalization even AFTER the gang of eight fight was over. Then in December, after confronted on the debate stage, Cruz claimed he had never supported it. Cruz is a liar and not worthy of respect.
When I vote in the primary I’m voting for Cruz. But in the general I’m bringing a few clothespins with me when I vote for Trump. Trump is far better than BS and Hillary but I don’t trust him. And I don’t think I’ll be participating in the discussion here on FR but I’ll be reading. If I don’t like what I read I’ll find something else to do with my time as my definition of conservative doesn’t seem to fit here anymore.
