Of the 30+ names I saw on the Zot List, I would not characterize any of them as dead wood. Many came on board FR about the same time I did, and they contributed to the freepathons and chapter activities.
Blithely characterizing them as "dead wood" is disrespectful IMO.

Please note that there is a single requirement for the zot list, and that requirement is helping Hillary.
All of the ones on the list did just that.
They made themselves into ‘dead wood’ on this board by their present actions. If they’re able to lose their spitefulness, they might well be able to come back.
But as it is, good riddance. It’s sad when a conservative can become so bitter and spiteful that they’ll try to deliberately destroy their own children for the sake of a politician.
I am hoping that some of them come back here and join us in beating Hillary. There were one or two that I was happy to see take a break but, more for the personal attacks, not their support of Cruz. But, I did not enjoy seeing longtime members leave.

Dead wood is something which once had a purpose, but no longer does.
The world is changing, and many of the old school conservatives haven’t evolved with it. They are the party of Bush.
Pragmatism and big picture strategy are what’s needed to right the ship. They couldn’t see that, and clung to yet another stuffy, meek, sure-fire loser, even as an effective agent of change and restored freedom was an evident and viable solution.
Good riddance.
