Lacking any self-examination whatsoever, failed McCain campaign head and MSNBC political analyst Steve Schmidt lashed out late Wednesday evening on Mark Levin as the embodiment of narcissism and self-aggrandizers who have created a cancer thats led the demise of the conservative movement in the Republican Party.
Yea Levin in bad. But I thought it was McCain who was the embodiment of narcissism and self-aggrandizers who have created a cancer thats led the demise of the conservative movement in the Republican Party.
Kinda like pot and kettle
“Victory has a hundred fathers. Defeat is an orphan.”
Kevin, uh, Schmidt is full of crap. The conservative movement has been headed hard left ever since January of 1989.
Knuckleheads like John McCain and this idiot Schmidt are what is killing the GOP and the Conservative movement.
What did McCain ever have to do with the conservative movement? He was too busy “reaching across the aisle” and pulling back a bloody stump.
GOPe loser vs. loser == keep it commin’
“What did McCain ever have to do with the conservative movement?”
Yeah, McLame was never a conservative to begin with. I just wished he’d have gone to jail with Charles Keating. He was dirty!
Blame away, it won’t stick to a staffer turned radio entertainer.
The demise of the GOPe was a large group effort, accomplished over decades.
The “group” still hasn’t learned a damn thing either. Which is why they have to be kept out of power for good.
That includes their media lackeys.
I too think that Levin went stupid this season. But to blame him for ‘the demise” is absurd. Glenn Beck was worse but not to blame either.
It was the fake conservatives who, like wolves in sheep’s clothing, screwed the pooch by allowing men like Jeb Bush to attempt to resurrect their political lives. I am happy that Trump has, so far, prevailed and I wish him success in Convention and in the Election. I will vote for him.
The self-anointed movement conservatives never accomplished a damn thing anyway. Good riddance.
Tea party + 8 years = TRUMP
McCain and neocons have done the dirty deed
Schmidt is the ultimate cowardly slimeball. Blaming Sarah Palin for losing the campaign he screwed up with his chickenshit boss. Now he’s a MSNBC political analyst? Cute.
Levin’s been pretty shrill lately but at least he has a brain. I can let a guy slide who was instrumental in helping Dave Brat get rid of Cantor.
FUSS!
I’ve decided I can live with populist Trump - at least he won’t make things worse.
I can’t live with a zealot like Hillary who is Obama squared.
With his other arm he was stabbing fellow Republicans in the back.
I’ve always voted for Republicans but never considered myself a Republican. I’ve always considered myself a conservative. They are not the same.
+1 I had a relatively good life up until about 2010, when Zero's policies began to take effect. And it has been downhill since.
I can understand folks getting emotionally invested in "their" candidate, although I never allow myself to do so.
And to anyone who, out of anger, frustration, or revenge, is flirting with the notion of voting for Hillary over Trump, I say: bleep you, you bleeping selfish bleeping bleep!
Well and wisely considered.
