Oh lighten up ... my post in no way made any fun of Stockdale. Sure, others did, but either way, those iconic words are simply part of our historical record, and the proper inference (and actual intention) of my post is how much more the actual slapstick interpretation of that phrase applies to the ludicrous and short-lived VP-nominee stint of Carly Fiorina.

So when I saw here pitiful and dismal picture in the airport, that historical utterance was simply the first thing that popped into my head, which I think would actually make a great caption for that pic:

Who am I? Why am I here?
