Good evening, radu...we made it thru check printing. And I was even done before the deadline. I was good to start making corrections as soon as I got in.

AND...it’s a good thing I get here before 8a. First the outer doors were locked on the handicapped parking side of the building, so I had to walk around to another side entrance. The two main elevators were still out, but the little one right near my office space was functioning and I got to the 4th floor.

BUT...everyone else had to CLIMB 4 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS because the little elevator was out too. They didn’t get one fixed for a couple hours. *sigh* If it had been any day but Wednesday, and I wasn’t already up here, I would have texted my boss and said I would not be there until an elevator was working.

Yup, it's good to be back in my own bed and not having a couple of dogs crowd me out! :-)

The daytime temps here plunged into the mid 70's today, it was cold :-)

Did you get the garage completely "organized" and cleaned out?

Trains have been on time on my line. My Brunswick Line peeps have been suffering all week. The derailment was cleaned up in time for them to run trains again today. So early this afternoon a tree goes down over the tracks in the Nuclear Free Zone of Garrett Park, (Montg'y Cy.) MD. All of the afternoon trains were delayed or cancelled.

Query: How long does it take government in one of the richest counties in the Nation to remove a fallen tree from the tracks of a major rail line? (Not only the MARC Commuter Trains run on that line, but all westbound traffic (Amtrrac) from Washington, DC.)
