Huma surfaced about 15 years ago when a Washington monthly magazine did a story about “Washington’s New Power Women.” It featured Huma prominently in an about 6-8 page full color spread. Great pictures, very flattering words, etc.
Everyone knew she was doing someone, but for about two years, everyone thought it was either someone big at WAPO or someone on the Hill in Leadership, but there was never a whisper as to who it was. At one time, there was even a Huma - Gary Condit rumor. Totally false flag.
Finally, someone figured it out and within 24 hours, everyone was slapping their foreheads and saying “Of course!!!”

PS, your are right about the Foundation. Any lead that comes from an email legally discovered in the server search opens a whole new totally justified avenue of investigation.... and they do not have 150 SAa working just on server emails!
