The Department of Justice told North Carolina's governor on Wednesday that a new state law limiting restroom access for transgender people violates the U.S. Civil Rights Act.
In a letter to Republican Governor Pat McCrory that was seen by Reuters, the Justice Department said the state was "engaging in a pattern or practice of discrimination against transgender state employees," and it had until Monday to address the issue.
McCrory's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The DOJ is completely partisan, political and left wing, and he has destroyed its neutrality and respected position - and above all, it happened without a peep from anyone.
The mayor of Charlotte who started this entire mess, she and her buddy the registered sex offender, will regret the day she pushed the ordinance. She became NC’s most unpopular politician. It’s costing her city millions and the state is losing millions too.
This is a very simple legal matter. So-called “gender-identity” is NOT a federally protected class of people upon whom discrimination is prohibited.

I would consult the SUPREME Commander first before making any statements or decisions. God will not be mocked. America is a cesspool right now. We need to “humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways”.
Well then: North Carolina needs a new law decriminalizing woman beating the crapout of transgender men in their bathrooms and, likewise, requiring such transgender persons to retreat rather than defend themselves.
“Affirmative action” and “Diversity” don’t violate so-called “Civil Rights” laws

There is no civil right to perpetuate a fraud on the general public.
Their access is not limited.
It is restricted to the bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers of the biological sex.
Anything else is delusion, and it does nobody any good to pander to delusional people.
Let me see if I understand this, Liberals want men to be allowed to use the women bathroom. Transvestites mainly, which is a confirmed mental health problem. They are the same Liberals who want people with mental health problem ban from buying a gun.
Meaning that heterosexual men and women have none.
