According to KCEN TV, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives blasted water on the container found just outside Rosebud off Farm to Market Road 1963. Rosebud, about 40 miles southeast of Waco, is home to about 1,400 people.

Flammable liquid and shotgun shells were found inside the container, according to Sheriff Parnell McNamara. He said the IED was designed to blow shrapnel and would have been "extremely dangerous" had it gone off.

"Someone had made this to create lots of damage and harm," McNamara said.

That’s what I think, too — when Reality hits the fan, Trump will trump.

Unless it had a primary explosive also doesn’t sound very dangerous.

Rosebud, home to Kenneth McDuff. Homicidal killer who when was put to death (finally) by the state, even the wacko liberals did not protest against...

>>Flammable liquid and shotgun shells were found inside the container,<<

Coleman stove fuel and shotgun shells were found inside a backpack.

Sorry but this is the ATF we’re talking about.

No, not anywhere close to the border. 325 miles - 5 hour drive. Sort of like saying Philadelphia is close to Boston.

I bet you think David Koresh was a saint and a harmless Christian, too, don’t you?

Isn’t this fairly close to West, Texas, where a fertilizer plant explosion killed several people two years ago?

Sounds like probable explanation. The FM road they quote isn't near any major highway. WTH kind of a BS story is this?

If ISIS pulls stuff over the summer it is only going to catapult Trump and his Muslim Ban into the White House.

Remember the infamous Mazda Miata from that case? I recently worked with a girl that ended up with it and was still driving it around as of 2 years ago.

Rosebud is about an hour south of West.

Close to the border (for now)... their port of entry...

Rosebud is 350 miles from the border.

Read: Bad Seed from Rosebud.
Chilling story. He murdered two or three in Tarrant county late 60’s early 70’s. Got the death penalty. Supreme Court over ruled all death penalty cases and he was eventually freed. Went right back to killing while attending TSTI Waco on a free scholarship for disadvantaged folks. State should have killed him the first chance it had. Look at the lives that would have been saved....

Flammable liquid - probably gasoline. Not too explosive. Shotgun shells - birdshot ‘shrapnel’? Without a barrel to channel the explosive force, those wouldn’t do much damage, much less take out a bridge. Couple miles outside Rosebud? So not even in town, town in the middle of nowhere? How did they even find this/think of it as a bomb?

Definitely not a terrorist plot, sounds more like some redneck having fun/forgetting his stash, or ATF making crap up.

Who would be the intended target of such a bomb?
