Good deal. I can sympathize with kidney issues.

Nah. I would have supported Ted the Weasel had he won. Most Cruz supporters will vote Trump in the end.

Those few who hold a grudge can go pound sand. Trump definitely won’t need them. He’s going to win big, pulling votes from the Bernie supporters and blue dog dems.

like petulant children

I imagine they are still licking their wounds, but at some point, there will be an assessment.

When I got to the end of the 2012 campaign, I went ahead and supported Romney because Benghazi had broken, and I couldn't imagine that he possibly could have handled that anywhere near as badly as Obama/Clinton had. Sadly, Romney then went into his rope-a-dope strategy, but forgot the part about finally coming out swinging. He lost due to terrible generalship, in my opinion.

Trump, on the other hand, wants to win. We'll see if his years on celebrity TV have given him insight into how to handle a completely hostile media.

I'm not sure they'll allow him the exposure during the general that they gave him during the primaries. On the other hand, I sense a fear out there among non-socialist democrats about Hillary, that she is so corrupt that it will hurt them personally. I'm interested in how that plays out.

I still think Biden might enter the convention as a savior if Obama tries to take her out via an indictment.

Everybody says a Biden/Warren ticket. We'll see.

So...the "Republicans" who hate Trump are honestly going to cast a vote for Clinton?

One additional benefit of Trump: he makes the RINOs masks fall off, exposing them for what they have always been.

The ones who amaze me are the so-called republicans who are part of the establishment, apparently, who are saying they’ll vote for Clinton as this title suggests.

What in the world have they been pushing for all these years in inner circles that allows them the flexibility to support Clinton? To me, they are the traitors in our midst who have pulled us down all these years.

Personally, I’d love to see them leave. Better the enemy you can see than the traitor in your midst.

Your doggerel seems a little self-absorbed, for a Missourian. Enjoy your Chardonnay.

It’s over. Counting coup is unnecessary. Gloating is unseemly. We are people of action. This does not become us.

Thanks, but I don’t like Chardonnay. I’m more of a Jameson or Jim Beam girl.

When did I gloat? Show me what I said that was “gloating”.

Dear Tex Freep,

Good point!

It was GW Bush that signed, and IIRC, not a whimper of disgust, The military Commissions Act of 2006, which made every American a ‘suspect’.
