I think it is time to lighten up on Mr. Cruz.

He ran a tough race. Now he stood down. Mr. Trump said today, Cruz ran a very tough race.

I hope the two of them work things out, and that Mr. Trump finds a good position for Mr. Cruz.

I agree. There is no point in holding a grudge. We need unity not getting even with each other.

Maybe. No. I do not want to see Cruz in ANY position within a Trump administration, in any national office whatsoever. I seriously doubt he could win reelection at this point. Nope, nada, never. Good riddance to him. Period.

Tomorrow is Trump's and whatever fresh faces and ideas he brings to Washington.

Ditto-- the name calling is just destructive at this point, and every prominent Cruz supporter badmouthing Trump or Trump supporter badmouthing Cruz will be trotted out by the MSM to cause dissension and support Hitlery.

Hillary is just a nastier and even more corrupt version of Zero. If she wins, there will be no taking the country back except by force of arms.

Trump did a good job in his speech—humble, and VERY magnanimous when it came to Cruz, who he praised as being a tough opponent with a fantastic future. I wish Cruz had done the same, but I understand the disappointment in his camp. Hopefully he’ll return the favor, though his comments earlier today might make that tough too. He needs to take a few days, calm down, and come out with a pledge to help defeat HRC, the real enemy. Hope he does so.

As a Trump supporter (so you know my bias) this was Senator Cruz's last chance to bow out gracefully and he did. I can now believe that the things he did were because he was desperately trying to win and thought he was the best man for the job. But now realizes that it is important for our country to defeat Clinton and set his personal ambitions aside.

I won't argue fine points that maybe he should have done it earlier. He got the message sent by the voters of Indiana and wasted no time. That's what a top class politician does. We are all a little bruised from this campaign but now it's time to focus on what's important for our country and that's getting Donald Trump elected.

Good Luck to Senator Cruz going forward. Perhaps with his support the Republican Party and the USA can change for the better.

No. Cruz did not even have the decency to acknowledge and congratulate his opponent. Even in defeat he was extremely unlikable.

Good riddance to the Canadian.
