All the useless verbiage in the above report fails to mention the fact that the two newspapers are at polar opposites politically. The St Pete Times has been an unapologetic socialist rag forever, while the Tribune has always taken a more centrist position on news reporting. This is a disgrace. When we are about to demolish the left-wing socialist choke-hold on Washington DC and the nation, Tampa’s only responsible adult newspaper falls to the socialist rag across the Bay.
