There came a time after emancipation and before the not so great society where blacks were actually entering the middle class, with intact American families, businesses and communities, as well as interacting with whites without suspicion or bitterness.

Then along came LBJ and “urban renewal”, bulldozing entire neighborhoods, businesses and family homes, to put up projects, no jobs. It basically rendered black men obsolete to families, replacing the income with a welfare check, and replacing well balance families and a disciplinary father figure with feral offspring of professional welfare queens....the end result which you can see today.

Some have escaped, but they are a minority of the minority.
