Agreed (but I sure hope Bernie gets stopped AFTER he maybe stops HIllary!)

Cruz and Trump both gave classy speeches. However, Cruz never congratulated Trump.

You’ve been warned, this is all on you.

You're blaming all of it on me? Hey I'll take the credit. Was it the pics?

You blather on about the Constitution but supported a candidate who wasn’t Constitutionally eligible. You are a fraud and a traitor.

The Carly Fiorina VP week was one of the strangest chapters I've ever seen in a presidential campaign. Gets introduced as VP the day after the candidate gets blown out in five states, sings a nursery song to the candidate's children, falls off a stage, does a weird hand clasping thing with the candidate, gets blown out in her first primary, then introduces the candidate so that he can drop out.

All of this in one week!

Saturday Night Live must be bummed that they were off this week.

Watch the young men in red hats at the rallies. They want physical combat with the left. They’re strong, physical fit, and orderly. We’re not going to get bullied into submission this time.

You have to admit that Cruz was 10 times the challenger that anyone else was. Trump learned a lot from his fight with Cruz and those skills will come in useful with Hillary.

Not as classy as one would hope.

That was a dilly for the history books!

Watching the reality show, and I did not know whether to laugh or cry. It was like laughing at mentally ill people melting down on television. I felt like I should look away.

HE won by being vulgar. Can

Nonsense. Trump won despite being vulgar, and, quite frankly, he has been jeopardizing the whole nomintion all along by not running a very clean campaign, IMHO.

The funny thing is, in his "non-political" life, he's really never been quite that harsh.

Trump really is a political "noob", so to speak.

Having acknowledged that Trump could have run a much smarter campaign so far, it's incredible he's been able to do as well as he has, especially having to fight off the GOPe, Cruz, the Media, and the Left all at the same time.

Now that it looks like he's got the nomination, I think he can be a viable general election candidate.

But I do think that Trump, like any other Presidential candidate, needs to up his game.

He's certainly capable of its, and if he does do so he will squash any and all opposition.

This man has a chance to make a difference in American history, along with those who will be responsible for holding his feet to the fire.

I don't see how we could do much better than a man like Donald Trump at this point, and he certainly has many of the qualities needed to be a good conservative/populist President.

I could live with that.

I mean, imagine what this man is thinking at this moment.

Imagine what any person would feel. Only a select few get to have even this preliminary feeling.

Hillary hasn't even reached this point yet.

It's got to be a humbling experience for any sane man.

That's why, as I've always said, it's about a lot more than checking off a bucket list if conservative policy positions.

Who was it that was posting that graphic?

Anyway, I'm just very proud and excited for Mr. Trump, and we all should be. We shouldn't underestimate the import of tonight's event.

Either way, I feel like the downside risk with Donald Trump is minimal. Either he'll be great, or just mediocre. I suppose it's not too realistic to expect too much, given the entrenched power structure we're all up against.

/End rant.

Vote Trump!

Cruz to fill Scalia’s seat would be a decent compromise

That's a lifetime appointment. I think his eyes are on the top spot.

He needs a little chastening, then Trump can name him for a post.

Based on what I understand about his personality, it might have to be one where he doesn't have to interact with people.

That’s why USSC would be ideal. They all do their rulings independently.
