Cruz was a conservative candidate, someone I have been waiting to support for years. Trump insulted Cruz and his family in the worst possible way. I will NEVER support or vote for Trump. He represents the absolute worst in politics. He ran a classic democrat campaign of personal destruction. Good luck supporting this clown.
Cruz personally insulted your fellow FReepers when called Trump supporters “low info”. I can’t recall a candidate ever doing that. But I see your fine with that. How principled and conservative of you.
I have voted in EVERY presidential election for 40 years. I have not decided yet, but this could be the first one I sit out — and I am VERY, VERY UNAPPRECIATIVE of the way the Trump supporters have acted, treating a Christian man in a very unchristian manner.
It was a two way street. Cruz dished it out as good as he took it. Given that, I think it’s best to let bygones by bygones.

I just listened to part of his concession speech. He clearly stated that he’s suspending his campaign.
No; there must be a reward for ending the campaign before the convention. There will be no contested convention. Forgive and forget the bad times and work together to defeat Clinton. That is the rational path.

Trump responded like a gentleman, Cruz never congratulated him tonight.
He has never congratulated Trump for any of his victories, it shows what kind of person he is.Small and vindictive.
I hope somebody is keeping an eye on the Cheeto Bandido, he’s gonna be upset and he’s not real stable these days. For the first time in 8 years, I might listen to him on they way to work. There is a high probability that he’ll have a guest host on, though, called in by Glenn’s producer after he refuses to get out of bed.
Good luck supporting Hillary or Ralph Nader. Your choices are bleak there, chief.

Gonna be interesting to see how either one of them goes forward, after having gone all in for Cruz the way they did.
I mean, those two bet the farm on Ted. How the heck do they come back from such unbridled favoritism, now that their guy has lost?
I really don’t know how they can, or even if they can.
