Thankfully, our kids are out of school but I seriously doubt that trash is being read here. Back when obama wanted everyone to read about him - we refused. I didn’t read it in my classroom and it wasn’t read in any other in our district. Thank you, Texas.

And remember how supposedly insulting it was to the dignity of the Senate, when Sen. Cruz, took time during a filibuster to try to have the Senate rethink its destruction of our Treasury, to read “Green Eggs and Ham” to his daughters before they retired for the evening.
And yet there are scores of those here who spend more time insulting Cruz, than they do those who ghettopaint the walls of the Congress with such filth. Our enemies, those we need to politically crush and destroy, are not here. It is time to attack them, not each other.
I remember a debate between a conservative and a liberal on some show, and the conservative hated it for making you think that you could change genders by adopting the opposite gender roles. And the liberal feminist hated it for another reason - for pushing gender roles, because it presupposed liking sports was for boys and cooking was for girls, while many female athletes and Gordon Ramsay would disagree.
So everyone but the LBGT?()@#(! can agree the book is bad - and inappropriate for children.

With all due respect to Rep. Speier, since the only sex-related issue that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect, giving the feds the power to strengthen this right, is voting rights as evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
So unless low-information Rep. Speier has introduced a resolution to propose another sex-related amendent to the Constitution to the states, an amendment that deals with the issues that the book that she read addresses, then she was basically wasting everybody’s time.
Note that even if she successfully leads Congress to propose a related amendment to the states, the states don’t have to ratify it.
Or is Rep. Speier possibly unthinkingly expecting pro-LGBT, state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices to wrongly legislate more LGBT “rights” from the bench?
