The fact that he’s losing ugly probably has a lot to do with that.
I’m predictng Trump will get 60% plus in Indiana. Cruz made a really, really dumb move in picking Carly for VP.
Everything he’s done on this campaign is a dumb move. If he had any ethics, he would have practiced better judgement.
I want that to be true. But, as a person who lives 8 miles from Indiana, I can tell you that Hoosiers look, talk and act a lot more like Cruz than Trump.
He’s a creepy nerd. Would not stand out in the crowd in Indiana.

perhaps Cruz should look to Reagan here.
Reagan NEVER lost ugly. He lost with dignity.
Of course, he didn’t really often lose. He sort of “lost” in 68, but not really. He just didn’t get far.
Then in 76...well..he fell short. But ask anyone who was there, at the convention, and they will tell you who really won. Then he worked hard for Ford.
Then he won his last two races (3, I guess, if you count the primary in 80), obviously, and with great dignity.
Reagan never lost ugly.
Cruz should emulate his betters a little more....
If Cruz does not step aside tonight he is going to become the most reviled politician in the US.

I have been told for years the most conservative candidate will be a winner. So far, that hasn’t happened since Reagan in 84. Whether it be primary or the general election.
That comment on RCP suggests that Trump’s remark about Cruz’s father was “troll bait” to get Ted Cruz to go berserk!

Sometimes seeing someone looking, talking, and acting like we do is so repulsive that it inspires us to change ourselves.
