[If only Kasich would have dropped out so that Cruz could have gone one-to-one with Trump. /sarc ]

If he did, Trump would embarrass Cruz in the same fashion the Trump supporters in IN Cruz confronted did.

Polished grammar, vocabulary, and delivery do not translate into effective experience. Without such experience, it just makes you sound like an a—hole.

Old news.

He is going to crush Hillary. She will look like a 19th century bureaucrat next to Trump. Old, worn out hag recycling lefty talking points to a crowd that has heard the same crap for 50 years with no results.

So much for the Cruz-supporters line that Trump is an illegitimate candidate because he just has a plurality of support.

A Cruz bought delegate would be happy to give Cruz the nomination so he could win 22% of the vote nationally? Their goal is obviously to lose at all cost. They want Hillary.

I call horse$hit. Good way to bring Cruz supporters like me to your cause, by posting nonsense like that. SMDH

I haven't seen much mention of this but Nebraska seems to be in play next week. Everybody seems to automatically put Nebraska in Cruz's column.

If Trump wins Nebraska as well as West Virginia next week, that's 70 "winner-take-all" delegates. Even bigger than the potential haul tonight in Indiana.

Most likely Trump will be well over 1100 pledged delegates next week with OR, WA, MT, NM, SD, NJ and CA still to come. This does not include the 40+ unbound he is sure to get from PA.

With a win tonight, this race is just about over.

Do you think that Cruz can reach HALF the delegates needed to get to the nomination?
Or more appropriately, half of the delegates that Trump gets?

If he gets so lucky.. Where will he get an increase of at least 100% of delegates in Cleveland?

And do you think he can actually be viable in a general election if he colludes his way to this type of victory?

Who knows? It's been well reported that Ted's ground game was far better than Trump's. One would think that those operatives would be welcomed into the Trump camp.

I don't get it...if Trump has it wrapped up as everyone implies, why not work on welcoming supporters of all those that Trump bludgeoned over the past six months?

Got news for you, FRiend: it's going to take some gentle persuading to unify this party. I don't need it, but it's got to be more than just voting against Hillary. We saw that tactic worked poorly in 2012.

Trump's got upwards of 60% support from Republican voters now. He's going to need energetic support from 95%+ to beat Hillary.

Just my opinion, enjoy your night if Trump wins in Indiana. I can see the handwriting on the wall, but Ted can keep fighting until someone gets to 1237.

So you’d be happy to waste your vote on a 22% chance? Rather than support someone that has a national majority? Not looking for supporters think like that. That’s why Cruz is losing. Stay home for all I care.

It is outright amazing that some folks in Indiana are voting for Ted Cruz today. I say that because Ted Cruz is hated, Carly Fiorina is hated and accoding to “The Hill” will not bring one vote to Ted Cruz. Add Cruz’s nutcase “Castro Adoree” father and, lunatic, Glenn Beck to the Cruz mix and ya just gotta say.....go figure how any sane person could ever cast their vote for Ted Cruz!!!

Now....IMHO, I believe the overwhelming number of Indiana GOP POTUS Primary voters will vote to support Donald J. Trump for the GOP POTUS slot, I have always had a high regard for Indiana voters, and that will certainly continue through today & onward.....but...ya gotta qustion some of their judgement on any support for Ted Cruz. Maybe they have been forced by the the Cruz campaign, led by Glenn Beck to consume vast, large amounts of “Jim Jones Kooll-Aid)

Thanks, I might just do that. Enjoy your bile as you contemplate what might have been when Hillary is inaugurated in January.

It’s clear that things are heading in Trump’s direction. This is clearly why Trump has been surging in Indiana and California.

You hear Mark Levin last night...holey moley. Uunhinged and no touch with reality, he came real close to calling all the Trump supporters idiots and morons last night. Mark, you and the GOP kingmakers who foisted Cruz upon on showed us what we always suspected. You all are a bunch of elitist, erudite, intellectually arrogant jerks who could give a rat’s azz about the country, you just want to be right. Levin even holds onto this fantasy that at the convention some machinations by Cruz or his allies can get him the nomination and this is a plausible and acceptable scenario.

80% of the Republican voters reject Lying Ted Cruz. DefeaTED!!!

Why?

Wouldn't it be nice if instead of getting the nomination but then being a footnote in history books, Trump actually won in November? Which gives a better chance of that happening: (1) insulting the candidate with 30% of republican votes and still preferred by over 20% of republicans, or (2) being gracious winners and moving on the the real enemy - Hillary Clinton?

Except for trolls paid by Hillary/Soros to divide the republicans, I expect most people to move on from the "Lying Cruz" nonsense. Or is hatred for Cruz more important than saving America?

Well you are not a raving lunatic or a delusional post whore but you need to let it go now. It’s in your hands to unify behind us, not the other way around. The election of Hillary Clinton is in your hands, not mine. I did my part and will come November. You can decide on being a big baby and staying home in November or vote and talk with others. We don’t need Cruz supporters pissing and moaning. You guys lost, be gracious and let’s live in real world land now, not the radio talk show fantasy land of the dream world of John Birch society of right wing purity.
