Cruz Preparing To Suspend Campaign This Week?
DC Whispers ^ | 05-02-2016

FYI: Today the very same rumor from two different (and trusted) sources suggest Senator Ted Cruz’s campaign is currently engaged in ongoing discussions regarding the subject of suspending the campaign as early as this week should the Texas senator lose tomorrow’s Indiana primary.

Dunno. At some point rational self-interest should kick in and he’ll have to say to himself, “if I’m going to have any future at all, I need to stop now.”

Also the money should start significantly drying up after tomorrow.

Biden quipped that Obama should appoint Cruz to the SCOTUS because in a few weeks there would be eight more vacancies to fill.

Do you really want all this fun to end? How can you have Superman without Lex Luther? The ratings for this race will plummet without Ted Vader, Snarly Carly, and the Mailman.

Nah, he couldn’t be that sane.

The only way I can see this happening is if he is flat broke and can’t raise another dime from the suckers, and Goldman won’t cough up another sweetheart loan.

Levin and Beck were the actors in the movie, “Dumb and Dumber”, and big time Cruz supporters.

Really ..???? None of this FREE SPEECH for you !!!!!!:

Pointing out that what they are saying is destructive does not carry the force of law, so it is not an attack on their freedom of speech.

Freedom is a gift to be used for good or ill by each of us.

If I tell someone they should stop making fun of a starving man (and suggest instead they help me feed them) I am not attacking their freedom of speech but simply pointing out that they ought to be more moral and just in their application of that freedom.

I hope this opinion really comes back to bite you.

This seems very close to admitting that the previous assessment was due to bitterness and spite. My own guess is its just frustration boiling over as happens to people sometimes.

>Cruz to stand down but not Kasich?

Dude, Kasich’s in it for the local foods. That man will be 30 pounds heavier by the time of the convention.

I would be quite shocked if he dropped out tomorrow. Sounds like a BS rumor designed to reduce Cruz’ support. Almost like Iowa and Carson. But of course that wasn't a dirty Trick, so neither is this.

However his backers may throw in the towel. Then it becomes a question whether Cruz will take Soros funding to keep the fight alive. I have no doubt Soros wouldn't mind funding him to hurt Trump.

“untrusTED is the LAST person I’d want on the SC, now.”

I really don’t like Ted Cruz but, he might do well on the SC. Having a likable personality is not required. You don’t have to pay attention to public opinion. You can write scathing dissenting opinions.

I think he’d be a fairly reliable conservative/moderate vote

The Senate might go for it in the same way that unpopular school principals are supported by their faculty when they apply for an assistant superintendent post in the ISD. It gets rid of them.

There is no hurry to suspend. Cruz can at least wait until the results come in from the infamous National Primary.
(When is that primary? I’ve been anxiously waiting for months.)
