He doesn’t like Japan. Japan does not allow Muslims to marry. They do not allow the Koran to be sold, and any use of the Arabic language. They refuse to allow Muslims to immigrate there. They refuse to allow Muslims to apply for state jobs.
Just so. I think he thinks of Japan as the Israel of the East. Definitely not his cup of tea.
Nah..!
They can marry, Korans are sold, Muzzies can apply for government jobs and people can use Arabic.
It’s just that it’s VERY hard for them to find places to rent or buy, places that will employ them, and people to sponsor them. It’s hard for them to sign up for credit cards and in actual practice very few companies if any will sell them insurance.
Also if you go around in flowing robes or other observant headgear and whatnot, most people will not actively seek out to become your friend, confide in you and trust you. They will generally not want to do business with you unless there was some hideously high, quick profit at stake.
All the barriers to foreigners are almost all informal, not written down, and they are higher for Muzzies, and more generally for people who are darker, don’t make much money.
There is a general western tendency to want to believe that the barriers are legally codified and they aren’t.
And THAT is why they are so utterly difficult to challenge.
I really think that Japan and Korea are psychologically ARMED TO THE HILT against Islam.
EVERY country on Earth could fall to Islam, and those two would remain at the very end —the xenophobia is deeeeeeeep and strangely, many times it is also POLITE, which seems like a contradiction in terms.
The Japanese do a lot of things right.
