Indianapolis (CNN) — Donald Trump is predicting he can knock rival Ted Cruz out of the Republican presidential race by winning Tuesday's primary here, and recent polling shows he's in good shape.
"CNN/ORC Poll: 84% think Donald Trump will be GOP nominee; 85% say same about Hillary Clinton on Dems' side."

Everyone knows it but Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin , Glen Beck and Ted Cruz.
Trump has already knocked Ted Cruz and all others out of any first ballot contention or hope for the nomination.
My math says he will end up with 1,240 (if he does badly in the next month) up to 1,340 or more if his momentum continues to build.
And I believe it is continuing to build.
I have been a Cruz supporter...but have also been encouraging him to stop this in fighting ever since the NY Primary.
The writing is on the wall. Continued fighting only hurts the chances against the Dems in November. I am praying the man will see this.

I sure hope the polls are right, and that Trump will crush Cruz leaving no room for debate. It would be great if Trump could sweep all the congressional districts, and get all 57 delegates.
I commend your honesty, but if Ted Cruz honestly feels that Donald Trump is a danger to this country and that he cannot beat Hillary Clinton, how can you think he will drop out?

It is nice you are so well intentioned that you believe Cruz is that wonderful, patriotic guy.
But many of us watching things unfold, came to the conclusion that Cruz is just an opportunist and only cares for himself and his ambition.
But if he is smart, he will withdraw now, for the sake of his own future.
They know it too but they’re hoping against hope that a miracle can still occur. It’ll be a miracle all right. It’ll be a miracle if Cruz can keep his loss in Indiana to single digits.
No one cares what he thinks, he has lost.

If this “miracle” occurs, it means millions of Trump supporters will stay home on election day and guarantee Ted Cruz loses by a 48 state margin. Nice “miracle” there, Teddy.
Trump could win 99% of the vote and Kasich 1% and Cruz would be claiming he won it all.
