In the early-morning hours of Sunday, a scuffle broke out between Fox News correspondent Jesse Watters and Ryan Grim, the Huffington Posts Washington bureau chief. The fight unusual among a tuxedo-clad crowd more used to venting their differences with Twitter snarks briefly caused ripples in the party, where political staffers and journalists were grooving to tunes spun by DJ Biz Markie and noshing on mini servings of chili cheese fries.

What did that comedian do that Drudge was leading with yesterday?
I didn’t want to sit through a 25 minute(?) video to find out.

According to a friend who was there, but did not see or hear any of it, but asked witnesses about it later, the Referee scored it 10-7 in favor of Watters, and the two ringside judges both had it 10-6 in favor of Watters.
I’m guessing the HuffPo limpwrist hit Jessie with his purse.

Jesse does not embarrass them. They embarrass themselves.
When students at Harvard, who volunteer to be interviewed do not know who Joe Biden is, think Benghazi (Ben Gazzi) is the name of the person running against Hillary, and do not know who we fought in either the Revolutionary War or WWII, they deserve to have their pictures, names and idiocy broadcast for the world to see.
My favorite was last week’s Harvard graduate, (in her cap and gown) who had majored in business and economics, who did not know what Capitalism was.

Watters doesn’t embarrass those people; they embarrass themselves with their stupidity.

Jesse Watters is a smooth, smiling bully. He takes a question, then asks many people that question. The people who answer correctly he's not interested in. Those folks don't make the final cut.
The folks who answer incorrectly, they make the final cut. Ha, ha, let's all laugh at the lady who thought Hillary was the vice-president.
No one knows everything. I'm sure there's some basic facts I don't know. Watters could make a fool out of me, or you, or anyone.
Sorry for the rant. But Watters is a bully, a subtle bully. And I hate bullies.

Did you think Jay Leno was a bully for doing the same gag? That's a great question. I like Leno, and I have respect for him. But yeah, his man-in-the-street bit was a form of bullying.

He does much worse then stick an iPhone in someones face. He stalks people with a camera crew.
I change the channel when one of his cringe inducing segments come on.

Watters does not badger people. In fact, his routine is much like Leno's. Smile, ask a person a simple question, and then hope the person makes a fool out of himself.
It is worth noting that Watters DOES badger public officials who refuse to answer policy questions. In that respect Watters is doing a service. I just wish he'd leave ordinary people alone.
