Nothing wrong with making money. I do it, too. I don’t try to (intentionally or accidentally) pass that off as something done out of the goodness of my heart, which is what the impression given by the poster who mentioned the rink did, whether or not they intended to. I’m just sorting out that Trump’s actions there were not so altruistic as profitable.

The opening sentence of the post was "Because all those conservatives we have elected to office recently can point to an accomplishment in reducing our debt, welfare, or addiction to government?". The post was a statement about the efficiency of a government project, not the motives. Standard government projects come in over schedule and over budget. Trump took one and returned it under schedule and under budget. It was also an opening for someone to respond to if they had an example of another government project that was delivered underschedule or underbudget.
