Cruz denies an Indiana loss would end campaign
The Hill ^ | May 1st, 2016 | By Jessie Hellmann

Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz said on Sunday he would continue his campaign if he lost the critical Indiana primary on Tuesday.

"If you don't win in Indiana under these circumstances, is this race over?" asked "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace.

"Of course not," Cruz said. "It's going to be a battle to see who can earn a majority of the delegates elected by the people at the convention. And the reason Donald is so frantic to say the race is over ... is because Donald knows he cannot earn a majority of the delegates that were elected by the people.

Every delegate who is blackmailable will be blackmailed if a bribe doesn't do the trick. That's how Washington works and how the Uniparty works. Roger Stone tells the story of a Democrat party trick that works: Wall Street bank goes in, buys up all the home mortgages and business loans etc of the delegates whose vote their candidate needs, then calls in the loan, due immediately. Most of course lack liquidity to pay off their loans. Bank says, BUT, we can renew your loan if you do the right thing at the Convention.

And that's just for delegates for whom they don't already have a file of mistresses, peccadillos, prostitutes, teens, etc., which, if revealed, would ruin the man's family and life. Unless of course he DID THE RIGHT THING at the convention. Then no one has to know about his sexual extra curricular activities. That's the most commone way they control people in D.C. (e.g., John Roberts, and plenty more); TPTB get the tapes the first night Mr. Smith goes to Washington and they provide him with the girl or boy of his dreams for the night.

None of them actually saw the records or case was thrown out on technicalities. If there was nothing to hide he would have released them.

Last I knew, Bob was actually OK. For an Iraqi, he landed on his feet.

This says he was recently in a UAE hospital, but provides no details. Apparently he is now retired. I wish him well. Not many likeable bad guys out there. He would probably have helped the Cruz ticket more than Glenn Beck or Carly Fiorina.

It’s over Ted. You fought the good fight, but a plurality of voters have chosen Trump. For the sake of stopping Hillary, drop out and back the nominee. She can be POTUS.

but of course we know it goes a long way towards nailing the vampire campaign coffin closed... California will be the wooden stake... but for now, Indiana is but another nail... yet a pretty solid nail at that.

yup
bet he is not legally qualified to be Senator in Texas.
a cancelled canadian citizenship 14 mos ago does not mean he is legal here... unless there is legal paperwork making him legal. A rescinded citizenship in one country does not imply or commute citizenship in another. He may just be a man without a country. Period.

If so, we may have an illegal alien sitting senator, fooling the good folks in Texas.

The Arizona Republic: Article link

TITLE: No way is Ted Cruz eligible to be president

(excerpt from the article by Alan Korwin)

John Jay, who became our first Supreme Court chief justice, sent George Washington a letter confirming that the only way to ensure the U.S. presidency remains free of what today we’d call “foreign entanglements” was to limit eligibility to natural-born citizens.

Washington replied, thanking him for the advice. In editing the final version of the Constitution, the framers changed Article II from "citizen" to "natural born Citizen."

Records of all this exist.

From the record: “Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise & seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen,” John Jay wrote to George Washington on July 25, 1787.

There, in a nutshell, is the entire situation... (more at link)

Of course he will - he really thinks he can wheel and deal and steal the nomination from the People - he cares not a whit for what the people want - he thinks he's the only one who deserves to be in the WH ---- some Christian/Modest/Champion of the People - he spits on us like those he CLAIMS to want to hurt....

To those who claimed Trump had the ego problems - better open your eyes on your boy - he's trying to reanimate a rotting corpse and thinks we will all love him for it - he's a parody of a Zombie movie now.

I cannot disagree with you. Something that defines it clearly such that two hundred years from now the globalist America haters still suffer much butt hurt every election cycle.

“Stop Goldwater” and “Stop Trump” have or will lead to LBJ and Mrs. Bill, respectively.

In the end he will lose everything.

Sadly, Ted could yet be the catalyst that turns the Texans to the Democrats.

In his political biography, Ted can always blame Buckeye Kasich for denying him a one-on-one race against Trump; Santorum can do the same with Newton Gingrich in 2012, giving us the failed “Mitt”.

At this point I’m starting g to believe they will have to have security stop Ted at the door of the convention. He just CA t accept defeat.
