So now I have a roommate at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July — my wife.

She was elected yesterday from North Attleboro as a Donald Trump delegate to the national GOP convention. Unfortunately for Dyin’ Ted Cruz, she is not a double agent for him or any other Canadian-born RINOs.

Course, this is one person’s opinion....but I say after the convention, all of Donald’s delegates should be flown down to Palm Beach for an RandR at Mar-a-Lago.

Actually Howie writes for the Boston Herald, not the Boston Globe. Maybe you are thinking of somebody else.

He's also a successful author of several books.

When I lived up in Boston, his radio show was a fixture. I'm not sure what you mean when you say his radio program is in trouble. Maybe you are referring to his syndication. If so, I tend to agree. Howie is such a Bostonian and his bread and butter is local Boston politics and crime. I just don't see his show appealing to people outside of New England as they won't know what he's talking about half the time.

I liked Howie’s reporting from the 1988 (Dukakis) convention in Atlanta.

He talked to civil rights leader Hosea Williams.

Hosea told him there were three categories of people — black, white, and Jewish.

A civil rights icon like Jesse Jackson.

I left Boston for good 12 years ago but I still listen to Howie every day via Internet. He is the funniest damn thing on the radio. No one else on earth can talk about all the various ways this country is going Soviet, and do it in such a way that I not only spend four hours laughing, but actually end up happier than I was before the show started. It's near miraculous.

Glenn Beck opened his radio program this morning (Monday) by reading the first few paragraphs of the above column by Howie.

He said it sounded like it was written by a high schooler, and that Howie was in the tank for Trump. Glenn’s voice dripped with scorn when he read the word “Canadian.”

Then Glenn started talking about God. I think Glenn laid a fatwa on Howie.
