Ted should have thrown in the towel after last Tuesday’s shellacking, and struck an agreement with Trump for some plum position in his administration.

Hanging on like this, with no mathematical chance of honestly winning, is only making the whole process more difficult for everyone concerned. Instead of earning votes and good will, he’s now earning the undying enmity of millions of rank and file voters, and other politicians.

I don’t think he has a prayer of winning Indiana, which will be his very last chance to salvage what little credibility and respect some people may still have for him. If he doesn’t exit the race after that loss, his political career is over.

-- Trump has to ask the GOP why the hell they are not forcing Cruz out if Trump wins Indiana. --

That goes double for Kasich, who has even fewer delegates bound.

It's not beyond imagination that Trump sweeps the remaining election contests. If the majority of the public sees him in a negative light for whatever reason, his being in the race wouldn't affect the outcome.

“I would expect more to show up for Ted in his hour of need. They know how to harvest those delegates well enough. This should have been a snap!”

The unvarnished truth is that Ted has never been popular with the voting public. It’s why his rallies have always drawn small, unimpressive numbers of people.

What you see in that rally turnout is a snapshot of Ted’s real popularity, which ain’t much. That’s probably the best his campaign workers could do, given the candidate they work for.

Actually had a door-knocker for Cruz come by tonight.
The first time in 12 years anyone other than a DEM canvasser has knocked on my door.

I actually felt sorry for the guy, he came out from Salt Lake for the week to help out the Cruz Campaign. I could tell he was depressed from the responses he was getting, and I couldn’t help by telling him I was a Cruz’r until the Chicago fiasco.

I feel for the guy, I went through the same thing in Ohio volunteering for Romney in Cinci, in Nov 2012.

Lots of us, myself included, who prefer Cruz, have said on FR we will vote Trump if he’s the nominee

I’m waiting for Indiana’s results like I used to wait for Christmas morning. Instead of visions of sugarplums, I have visions Cruz ending his campaign. A Trump nomination will be Christmas in July! Go Trump!

Sorry, Ted, but Donald’s math is certainly better than your math is.

Ted is living in denial.

He’s the kind of guy who will think he’s won after Trump is inagurated. I can see him setting up an oval office in his garage and sitting there giving pronouncements to the neighborhood.<<<<

That’s some funny stuff right there lol! I can see that! AND insisting that God told him to.

I think the weirdness of Glenn Beck rubbed off on Cruz. Cruz needs to stick his face in the Cheetos, put on the red hat and go to work electing Donald J. Trump as our next President of the United States.

Go ahead Teddy, take the lead from your homey, Glenn:

He is clearly mentally ill... delusional, a danger to himself and this nation.

I have come to believe he is in need of long term committal to a mental institution.
