It was pathetic watching Carly defend Cruz’ sexcapades.

I think Senator Cruz has a basic immaturity. It’s almost understandable, given the context and his ambition, but it’s not forgivable.

He came up the ranks when the Tea Party was hitting it’s stride. He was considered one of the great successes of the movement. He probably figured (not unreasonably) that after eight years of Barack, the country would be hot to get a principled conservative in office to correct the course of the ship of state.

He would stick to his act, pull some stunts in the senate to get some publicity, and fasttrack his ambitions after only four years in the Senate by running for the Presidency. He’d market himself as the principled conservative in the race, read his lines, and take advantage of public angst against Obama, get his 280 electoral votes, and hope he can keep it up for four years and achieve his ambitions.

It didn’t work out that way. Republican voters were alienated from everybody in DC, particularly Republicans. He stuck to the script, convinced it would go his way. He must have been on cloud 9 after Iowa.

Then it never quite worked out. He suffered a string of losses, leading into losing big in the South (which he must have figured was his firewall). He panicked and pulled whatever seemed expedient at the moment. At this point the seams were showing and the defects were becoming apparent. He was nasty, unlikable, and increasingly considered dishonest and underhanded. Right or wrong, that image stuck.

He still figures this is his moment, and the voters are the ones in the way. He’s unhinged, I’m afraid. It’s time for an intervention. The sooner this guy is shoved from the GOP primary, and ultimately the Senate, the better.

at the early Democratic debates.

O’Malley and Bernie had to stand at lecterns
that were way too short for an adult.

is Trump going to let that happen again?

Indeed! In an election I’ve largely found very unhappifying (sic?).... the one thing I would definitely look forward to (from a sheer entertainment perspective, at least) would be Trump vs. Hillary

Trump will do exactly what McCain and Romney SHOULD have done..... challenge and attack his opponent’s weakneses

Don’t worry. Kasich and Cruz are child’s play compared to the wrath he will unleash against The Beast.

Maybe Trump will challenge her to "Ash Trays at 20 Paces"

Hillary taking in some practice from her SUV.

We have to be careful here.

The RATs have a chance for a Mulligan on their candidate.

I Hillary starts to trail DT too badly, the just-us department will suddenly discover that her sins with the email server were bad enough that she really does need to be indicted. She will drop out, and they will get to trot out a new, candidate, having had the chance to see what works and what doesn’t work against Trump.

BUT, this will only happen if she falters after the convention. They do not want Sanders, so they will dispose of him at the convention. If Hillary is up in the polls she will be untouchable, if she is down she too will become disposable...

I think Trump may get fair coverage from CNN, based on the coverage of his family recently.

You have been here long enough to remember when we called CNN the "Clinton News Network"

CNN will always have a liberal basis, they may be neutral on Trump now, since they would love nothing more than he run against Clinton...

I'm sure their tune will change come the general...

Remember to put your shocked face on...!

Trump can cast stones at the politicians with their corruption since he does not live in a glass house as an outsider!

She won’t get the protections she has become accustomed to......Trump will turn every attempt to ‘moderate” him into another pointed attack and she will die the death of a thousand cuts....

Yes she has more baggage than Delta Airlines but Delta can lose baggage. She can’t.
