Well, like I said, this Vattel stuff has never been a real issue for the vast majority of Americans. We have been doing fine for over 50 presidential elections and I wouldn't expect any major changes soon.

It's just not a burning issue. If an ineligible candidate runs, he'll lose.

Ineligible candidates displace eligible candidates and thereby denies the electorate the opportunity and right to vote for eligible candidates. Ineligible candidates such as Chester Arthur and Obama have been unlawfully elected and made profound changes to U.S. history. Many more candidates such as McCain, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and others have displaced eligible candidates who may have been able to have more success at stopping the corruption in the Federal and state governments.
