His senior campaign management has already come in and mau-mau’ed the State party officials. “As soon as the nomination is locked in, we’ll be the party’s best friend.” But in the meantime, his minions continue their assault on the conservative movement here in Colorado. I think the assault has it’s own momentum.
And, without going into details, State party leadership (in combination with the Denver Chamber of Commerce and other like-minded establishment money) is already using Trump’s muddy boots assault on conservatives here in the state to reset some infrastructure to make sure that conservatives will have a much harder time winning primaries in CO. Making nice with the GOP-E here in CO is not the same as undoing the damage he has done to conservatives.
