I worked there about 30 years ago. We were very busy.

"The trannies can shop online and use their own bathroom"

"Knowing the pervert crowd, they'll find some problem with that to nag you about."

So many of them being affluent and politically influential, they tend to pay others to do the nagging, spying and robbing for them.

They had great guns. When I lived in Texas I always bought there. Entered with a pocket full of cash and 30 minute background check later I was walking out an armed citizen. The way that America and the second amendment was meant to work. 1 of the 4 times there was an “issue” and I had to wait 3 days but got what i wanted after that short wait. When I asked why they said someone with a similar name had a record.
Just proved to me the system works.

BassPro and Academy are rapidly expanding. They always have a lot of people buying stuff.

I suspect the real problem was getting rid of firearms and ammo. As dumb as can be.

“Atlas Shrugged”

Practically right out of the book.

Wow.

Scary.

I haven’t been in a mortar and brick store for years.

I'm heading in that direction. I've noticed a new trend in store shopping, and I don't like it:

I'm a fairly typical Guy Shopper -- I know what I want, I enter the store, I find the item, I pay for the item, I leave the store. Lately, my progress seems inevitably slowed by other people and the reason they go to the store. You see, people don't go to the store to shop. If they wanted to shop, they'd do it on line like a normal person, right? Basically, lonely people go to stores because they need a friend, and they want to talk (and talk and talk and talk) to the cashier about their children, their vacations, their roof repairs, and everything else. It's endless.

And, of course, store employees are trained in customer relations so they do not hurry the conversation. They just stand and nod. Meanwhile, I'm holding a $17 item and a $20 bill and I'm trying to get to my car, and I have to stand there for 10 minutes listening to drivel.

Brick and mortar stores need to die -- or at the very least, I need to stop going to them.

“With all of these retailers closing their doors, this should do away with the transvestite going wee wee in the ladies room problem. The trannies can shop online and use their own bathroom.”

Terrific observation.

Dick’s reneged on its rifle orders a few Christmases ago. I think they decided to not sell weapons after Sandy Hook. There were a number of orders that Dick’s simply decided not to honor.

I haven’t been back since.

“No loss for me as I buy on Amazon.

You buy your firearms on Amazon?

“You buy your firearms on Amazon?”

Guns shows. or a locally owned gun store. so some brick and mortar action.

That’s absurd. I go to stores and never experience that.

I am buying a new S&W for Christmas, a present to me. Is Sports Authority the place to buy? I live in California, usually I go to a local (non-franchise) gun store (old school type store).

I used to come home from work and put my wallet\money on top of my dresser.
In the morning before going to work, I would pick it up from the top of my dresser and put ‘em in my pockets.

My son (a little kid at the time) asked me to stay home from work so we could play together.

I explained about working and earning money to pay for his food\toys etc... Then I asked him where he thought the money came from ?

Without batting an eye, the answer was: “On top of your dresser”

I’m not surprised; the Sports Authority near me seemed to be more of a clothing store than an actual sporting goods store...

I’m a “guy shopper”, and have a similar problem: I stand and wait for an idiot cashier to figure out how to work the cash register. Turnover seems to be so high, it seems everyone is on their first day. I sometimes drop by a nearby Kmart if I’m in the middle of a project and need something, and am disgusted at how long the routine purchase of one stupid thing can take...

I used to go to Dick’s for T shirts, but now they all have logos and are made like sh*t.

No reason to advertise for Nike or whatever, and no reason to pay for crap made by Asian slaves.

F*** it. Make America great again.
