Does he not understand that if HE was the GOP front-runner, that he'd be getting the same royal treatment from the left?

I don’t agree that Cruz threw in with the Trump protesters. He made a statement blaming the protesters first and foremost, then added that Trump was egging them on and deserved some measure of the blame for what happened (which IMO is true). That’s not fairly characterized as “throwing in with the protesters, Doc.
