“Could this be why Pence did what he did? He was told to???”

I think you nailed it!! Now it makes more sense. He was taking his time, way too long to have a good effect. Early voting started 4 weeks ago. Up until 3 days ago 65,000 people had already voted. Following your logic, Pence wanted to sit it out. Camp Cruz went screaming to CFG to put the pressure on him and it is an election year for him I believe.

Also most of the Kasich early voters could not have voted for Cruz. The 65,000 number will be higher by this weekend and Trump usually does well with those voters.

I also heard something else. The editor for a major newspaper in Indiana said that 35% of voters are Evangelical and that Trump was getting at least half their votes. Cruz would need a large majority of these voters to take the state.

I just couldn’t understand what was going on, especially after Knight endorsed Trump and was at his rallies with him, and Trump and Christie had met at Pence’s home that day...so I put my thinking cap on, follow the money...and I really think this is what it is...

Rush Limbaugh: Who’s Really Funding His ‘Success’?

Posted on June 10, 2015 by the Old Manavatar

Rush LimbaughTime and time again you read a story which says in one way or the other that Rush Limbaugh is finished. Typically it happens shortly after another major sponsor or radio station drops Limbaugh. The latest is WRKO radio in Boston, Massachusetts who announced late last month that they intend to drop him “in the near future”. That was followed up with the usual announcements from the left that Limbaugh was getting near the end. Yet he trudges on.

Limbaugh’s website currently boasts 593 radio stations that carry him. Although difficult to find a list or total number of stations that carried Limbaugh at the height of his popularity, this document from 2011 says Clear Channel carried him on 600 radio stations. Clear Channel was the big dog of radio stations owners’ back then, which was acquired by Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital in 2008.

So how many radio stations have actually dropped Limbaugh? It appears that just a handful is all he’s lost. The confusion came in 2013 when Cumulus Media announced they were dropping him and Sean Hannity, which would have involved slightly more than 40 stations. But that never happened. Just a month later it was announced that Cumulus had reached an agreement with Limbaugh and the show would go on. But as you’ll read below, the negotiations’ most likely included a third party.

Limbaugh has lost less than a dozen radio stations since the flare up over him started two or three years ago. That’s maybe 2 percent which amounts to nothing. Therefore, what we hopefuls are left with is Limbaugh’s sponsor situation.

Unlike his 2008 contract with Clear Channel, there was no big splash about how much he is being paid with the new 2013 contract with Cumulus. But if you know anything about Limbaugh you probably know that his contract with Clear Channel in 2008 called for $50 million per year through 2016 (Election year). That’s a lot of money even for Clear Channel, let alone Cumulus. And there’s one thing that’s clear.

IHeart Media – Clear Channel’s new name – is losing money head over heels. They post a $309.2 million loss for the last quarter of 2014. That was nearly three times more than the same quarter the year before. And the industry attributes the majority of that loss to Rush Limbaugh. Then there’s their $20 billion-plus debt they’re trying to service. So the question is who is really funding Limbaugh’s $4 million-plus salary each month?

GOP Divide ConquerThe answer is simple: The Koch brothers – Charles and David. But why would they do that?

It’s a wide-open secret that the only way the Koch’s, tea party and Republican Party can remain in power is through populist division — the old tried-and-true “divide & conquer” method. They do that spreading hate and fear, using the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Shaun Hannity as their puppets. And quite frankly $5 million is pocket change for the Koch’s, especially when you consider the power and bigger fortunes to be gained.

So the die is cast; don’t expect Limbaugh to go anywhere no time soon. That is, at least until the 60 and over generation dies off, which will leave few supporters of this radical hate and Koch agenda.
