We moved away from Costa Mesa 10 years ago this week but am I correct in remembering the CM police department is across the street from the amphitheater or is it across the street from the fairgrounds? I don’t understand why the police weren’t out in full force before the rally even started. They know what THOSE people are capable of. They have to live with/fight it every day. They could have blocked off streets/entrances and let the complaints fall where they may. I surely wouldn’t have been driving my car in that neighborhood. It didn’t look like it was people driving away from the rally so I don’t understand.
